Growth and Harmony: Wing Chun Kung Fu school

With Wing Chun Kung Fu, all the unnecessary movements of the more traditional fighting arts have been eliminated. Wing Chun is a fast, explosive art that absorbs oncoming forces and chases those that retreat.

"Growth and Harmony" was founded in 1976 by Sifu Michael Garvey who through the years since has built a warm friendly club with a clear attitude towards training and those we train with. Some of the key aspects of our training is the "attitude of humility", "self respect" and "training without anger". We learn to control our attitude towards other people and towards ourselves, an essential part of progression within the Growth and Harmony system.

Clubs at the Wanstead Leisure Centre and the Ilford Pavillion (next to Ilford Swimming Pool opposite The Cauliflower. Through the carpark - straight down). For more information visit our website.
