| Ilford is just a shadow of it's former self, a shame really because it used to be such a lovely place to live. It is steeped in history, check it out if you have the chance. Ilford was my home for 37 years and holds a very special place in my heart. |

| i remember valentines park so well i lived in the cranbrook pub in 82 and walked my dogs over there often and i remember all the drunks that sat there all day and also falling in to the lake while working at the boats best time of my life in ilford miss all my old friends too. | i lived in ilford for 29 years. i currently live in the usa. i do miss the oldtown,however,my last vist to ilford last year left me a with a sorry memory.it is safer to live in new york city than it is to live in ilford.the mayor of ilford should learn from the old mayor of ny city. make ilford welcoming...clean the towns crime... |

| I think that this website is very good. I
have lived in Ilford for 18 years, I suppose its not as bad as some places to live in, its just over the last few years the crime rate has gone up and that personal friendship that people once had has sadly gone. I remember only a few years back when people would say good morning to you, they
certainly do not bother to now. I think that its very sad. |

| what a trip down memory lane. I spent some of the happiest times i can remember in the Exchange centre with friends and went to vhs. Id l;ike to visit again soon but itll b a while so till then ill have to do with visiting this sight!! thanks
