Jalalabad, Ilford Lane,Ilford - Went to Jalalabad for first time on Saturday. Superb food, good portions and prompt service. All at a reasonable price. In 30 years of eating curries it was one of the best I've had.

Been eating there for 20 years and still as good as ever. Got more regulars than any other place I have come across.

I have been eating in this place for nearly 15 years now, and can say with my hand on my heart, I have never had anything but excellent food and service.

Furthermore, people that I have introduced to it now swear by eating in it and no longer eat elsewhere when going for a Curry.

It is one of the few places outside the West End/City that often gets rave reviews from The Evening Standard. If you have a free evening, then do yourself a favour and go and eat there as it is indeed pukka
