- A/S Level exam mix-up at King Solomon's school
There was a mix-up of A/S level exams. Students from King Solomon School who studied the Information Technology A/S Level found that their coursework grades seemed to be jumbled up on their final exam statement and did not resemble those that the teachers gave. An investigation is under way but it is possible that the coursework marks were moderated down by the exam board as the teachers could have been marking too highly. [Add your comment]

Current Weetabix advert filmed in Barkingside High Street!!
The advert shows a woman with a large 4x4 car about to reverse into a space which is only just bigger than the car. She then aggressively sticks the car into reverse, whacks her foot on the accelerator and after lots of screeching she is perfectly parked and is seen getting out of her car.

- Former Tory MP Neil Hamilton arrested in Ilford for alleged sexual offences
Former Tory MP Neil Hamilton was arrested with his wife, Christine at Barkingside Police Station on Friday after serious allegations of serious sexual assault.
On May 5 this year they were alleged to have taken part in a rape at a property in Ilford. A 28-year-old college lecturer, claims the couple performed indecent acts on her while a 60-year-old man raped her. The couple have strongly denied the allegations, and think that these allegations are part of a smear campaign against him. There is strong evidence to suggest they were nowhere near the area at the time of the alleged attack.
Coincidentally, Louis Theroux was shadowing the couple for his documentary series and followed them to the police station too.
The couple were interviewed for 5 hours at Barkingside Police Station before being released on bail.
