11 year old impaled on railings | Submitted: 31 May 2001 | On Thurday afternoon, a Woodlands Primary pupil attemped to climb over the railings at Loxford Park. A spike pieced his skin above his right elbow. A group of nearby school pupils came to his aid, one went for help and the other two supported him until help arrived.
The spike had hit a bone, lucky for him, as this prevented any damage to arteries.
