Dead body found at Barkingside station Submitted: 16 May 2007 Barkingside station was closed from approx 7:10am to 13:25pm because the body of a woman aged in her 40's was found inside. The cause is unexplained so far. As of late afternoon there were two policemen standing on the platform guarding the entrance to two doors accessed from the platform - a training room and a door marked 'private' next to it.
